Showreel
A selection of cinematography work from across feature drama, television, dramatised documentary, short film and music video.
The films and series here have screened internationally — from Cannes and Schlingel to Beijing, Zurich, Adelaide and Cinemagic — and have collected multiple Gold ACS Awards at State and National level, an AACTA nomination for Best Cinematography, and a Silver Logie.
My approach as a Director of Photography is the same on every project: pictures in service of the story, lighting that supports performance rather than dominating it, and a camera that's flexible enough to follow the director rather than dictate the moment. The kit changes — ARRI Alexa Mini with Cooke S4 for Moon Rock For Monday, RED with Zeiss Master Primes for Forbidden Ground, Canon C500 with vintage Leica R glass for the doc and music-video work — but the underlying brief stays the same: find the right light, frame for the truth of the scene, and protect the cut.
Selected projects are presented with notes on format, production context and the creative brief from the director. For enquiries about availability or to discuss an upcoming project, visit the Contact page.
